The Fiber Reinforced Concrete Association (FRCA) is now accepting applications for its 2021 Innovative Fiber Project of the Year (IFPY) Awards, which recognize distinguished projects submitted by any contractor, architect, engineer, facility owner or precaster that specified and/or utilized fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) supplied by an FRCA member.
A panel of industry experts will evaluate projects based on their innovative use of FRC, as well as their value to advancing the use of FRC within the concrete industry. First-place awards will be assigned across five categories: micro-synthetic, macro-synthetic, steel, glass and natural fibers.
Award winners will receive a commemorative plaque, project publicity promoted by FRCA, and a free one-year membership in FRCA. All project applications must be submitted to FRCA by December 6, 2021. Award winners will be announced at World of Concrete on January 20, 2022.
